Laminate Flooring Now Champion Tile

“If your budget won’t stand hardwood flooring, then you might want to consider laminate instead. It’s fairly easy to install as well, provided you read and follow the instructions, and don’t cut corners,” pointed out Dean Dupre, who owns Champion Tile,A card with an embedded IC (Integrated Circuit) is called an IC card. a Clearwater Flooring, Tampa Flooring, and tile installation company.

The main attraction to laminate flooring as an alternative to hardwood is cost, but also the wide variety of styles, designs and colors available. This means versatility in choices to match a home’s ambiance and theme. It is not unheard of for a do-it-yourselfer to hit a store on the weekend, haul home flooring and lay it that same weekend. “It isn’t difficult to install, as it snaps together with planks with tongues and grooves. It’s almost fail-proof, too, because the plank design let’s you install it fast and easy, without a whole lot of work,” said Dupre.

Just remember that laminate flooring has a laminate base, and that simply means it adds even more strength to the floor, stretching its longevity. Hardwood does not have the same durability as laminate, and for this reason, families with kids and pets love this as a reasonably priced alternative that suits their lifestyle.RFID TagSource is the leading provider of RFID tag solutions for high value asset management applications. The big bonus comes when wiping it clean. If the laminate was good quality, there should be no issues cleaning it with a damp mop. Cheaper quality laminate does not always clean up well without leaving streaks.

“Not sure what to buy? Then approach your purchase by first choosing a light or dark finish, according to the room you are going to renovate. Then, check the pricing and work from there. Thankfully, laminate flooring comes in a wide variety of prices ranges to suit anyone’s budget. It’s also good idea to read the instructions on the outside of the box, just to make sure you have the materials you need to install the floor,” Dupre added.

Remember that to install laminate, the back of the plank either needs to already be padded or padding needs to be put down before installation.Full color plastic card printing and manufacturing services. This helps the floor last longer and assists with insulation. Laminate is a great alternative for those on a budget, and they still get a great looking floor, when all is said and done.

For only £100 (about $155 Canadian), this piece of terrifying history can be yours. The description on the advertisement says the sellers feel compelled to tell potential bidders about the misfortune they've encountered since placing the mirror in their apartment.

"Many times since putting up the mirror, both myself and my flat mate have woken in the early morning hours screaming in pain. We both experienced what I can only described as intense sharp stabbing pains throughout our bodies," the post says.

Excruciating stabbing pains? Oh, well in that case, consider it sold.

Other side-effects apparently include feeling zapped of energy and falling sick without any clear cause. The advertisement says items began disappearing from the apartment, paintings fell from the walls and items would be inexplicably strewn across the floor.I personally really like these mini ear cap for my iPhone.

The description includes an image of mysterious scratches on someone's body, which one of the sellers claims as proof of the mirror's malevolent powers.

"Truthfully, we both love the look of the mirror, but since we put it up in our flat we have had nothing but bad luck, misery, financial problems and illness," the description says.we are the biggest USB flash drives wholesale supplier in china.

A share of the artworks’ proceeds will be donated by the artists to the Fund for the Arts in Southwest Florida, which supports nonprofit art organizations in the area.

Among the pieces sold, four were Gale Bennett paintings that were donated by his widow and Display Curator Cello Bennett. These paintings sold during the Gale Bennett exhibition at the Community Foundation last summer. The paintings were Force Red, River Flats 2005, Nocturnal Bouquet, A Special Place and Bouquet de Printemps.

The next art open house will be held Friday, March 1, from 4 to 6 p.m., and will feature interactive classes with artist Doug MacGregor and Freida VanPelt, a legally blind art instructor at the Lighthouse of SWFL. VanPelt will conduct a live demonstration while providing goggles that stimulate being blind, for anyone who wants to know what it feels like to paint blind.

Jerpoint Abbey is calling you

To understand the true importance of Jerpoint Abbey, Thomastown, situated after a bend on the road, along the old national primary route to Waterford (N9),We have become one of the worlds most recognised Ventilation system brands. you must go back to when it was at the height of its powers before the dissolution of the monasteries in the 1540s.

And you have to walk around the cloister (the square-shaped covered walk) with the ‘Garth’,Professionals with the job title Mold Maker are on LinkedIn. green area in the centre, and try to imagine the White Monks, their heads bearing the shaved tonsure as they walked in the cloister walkways praying or singing in Gregorian chant. As they passed the beautifully designed and simple structure that have passed down to us, it would have been difficult for them not to be touched by the different images that confronted them as they walked around.

These figures carved in stone include such images as St Anthony of Egypt, the 4th Earl of Ormond, a manticore, a wyvern (legendary winged creature with a dragon’s head, lizard’s body, two legs and a barbed tail), a man with an upset tummy, knights and images of both St Catherine of Alexandria and St Margaret of Antioch. Interestingly both of these female figures are represented three times each in Jerpoint along with a carving of St Mary. These carvings echo some drawings found on medieval manuscripts.

It was very much an all-male, hierarchical system with the under-classed, lay brothers not allowed into the cloister and living in a separate area outside the inner sanctum. And let’s put one thing to rest. St Nicholas (now known as Santa) was not buried here by knights coming back from the Crusades.Site describes services including Plastic Mould. It’s a lovely, romantic tale but has no basis in truth any there is no written record to support it.

Folklore has it that his remains or a piece of his body or a relic associated with him lie in the abbey but that does not mean to say there is no link to St Nicholas and the area. He is strongly associated with the church named after him, not far from Jerpoint and close to the lost village of Jerpoint which has been lovingly and wonderfully unearthed and brought to life by Joe O’Connell. And it does have a certain aura and who knows the remains of St Nicholas may have ended up there.

The lost town, which grew up beside the abbey and declined dramatically in the 17th Century, is extremely important and greater links between the State-run abbey and the work on the telling the story of that town should be closer, making it an even better experience for visitors.

What should be at the centre of all this history – opening it up to as many people as possible. Brian Keyes wrote extensively in this paper about the lost town of Jerpoint and it is available on the Kilkenny People website.

Jerpoint Abbey still has a huge significance and still has a strong resonance with the surrounding community. Although there have been no funerals in the abbey precincts for the last few years, local families still have plots here and are entitled to be interred here.

The guides at Jerpoint are in possession of a map from early in the 20th Century which shows the various family plots dotted around the abbey and the supervisor, Dr Breda Lynch wouldn’t mind discussing it with anyone who thinks they might be able to name some of the plots.

I think that you have to climb the stairs to the open-air first floor of Jerpoint to really understand the life of the monks. And if there was a higher visitor platform it would make an even greater impression with visitors. If you are from Jerpoint like the retired Bishop of Ossory, Dr Laurence Forristal, you still have great memories of the place and people from here have a great respect and pride in it and maybe that’s why it has lasted so long - the reverence of the community it.

As one commentator has described it: “The dark, biscuit-coloured tower of Jerpoint Abbey, with its battlements, rears above a bend on the road south of Thomastown.”

What an apt description and that colour is in part due to the Dundry stone used in its construction and the fact that it has survived wars and natural calamities to remain relatively intact compared to others is amazing. There are no rich tapestries here, no priceless antiques and no portraits of in-bred toffs with long noses but here you can touch history and appreciate the lifestyle of those who lived and died here.

Receiving a five star tour from one of the most eminent scholars on the Cistercians in Ireland, Dr Breda Lynch, helps your appreciation of Jerpoint and as we walked up the wooden stairs to where the monks dormitory was and because the roof has long since been removed, we can see the Kilkenny-Waterford railway line where, in times past, trains stopped and people got off to view Jerpoint. In the fields below the first floor we can make out the outlines of various outbuildings and defences and the remains of the drainage system which may have included a system of reed beds (eco-friendly monks). But it is the monks and their existence that characterises your visit to their meagre sleeping quarters.

Their day started at two o’clock every morning and they walked down the stairs from the dormitory to the ground floor and into the church where they sang in Gregorian chant the first of the nine prayerful periods. I’m not sure there would be many takers today for the life of a monk in an enclosed order. With superior quality photometers, light meters and a number of other solar light products.

These Cistercians, were originally from Citeaux, France and were followers of the Rule of St Benedict which revolved around three basic principles; peace, prayer and work. As stated their day started at 2am and they were allowed a 1lb weight of coarse bread and two dishes of boiled vegetables per day. It gets a little better. They were also allowed eight pints of abbey-made beer every day. This beer was thick and had to be strained before drinking and was lighter than today’s Smithwicks but it was this beer that gave them the energy, we are led to believe, to keep going. They were banned from eating any four legged animal but they could feed on chicken, fowl and fish. However, standing there, Dr Breda explained that in the calefactory in font of us (again without a roof) a fire was lit on All Soul’s Day and quenched on Good Friday. This was the only heat in the entire complex.

Here, four times a year, the poor monks were bled and had up to four pints of blood removed. Yes, 16 pints a year. There was even a special “monastic blood pit” at many monasteries like Jerpoint. In medieval and early modern times it was erroneously thought that “letting blood” was good for all sorts of ailments and was common practice across the medieval world.Nitrogen Controller and Digital dry cabinet with good quality.

Education--UNH Alert System Pings the Public

Everyone likes something extra. The University of New Hampshire’s public safety notification system delivers the expected security features but it goes beyond public safety. The school can leverage its security investment for everyday uses—like promoting bookstore sales or updating parking availability.

Like most other colleges, UNH has several emergency platforms in place to protect students and faculty. The rub is how to reach visitors—alumni, visiting sports teams—who are not in the campus database. The Clery Act requires everyone be notified of dangerous situations, 24/7. How does one reach outsiders?

“We were looking to add some redundancy to our existing system and add some features to ensure we could reach all communities on campus,” said Paul Dean, chief of police and executive director of public safety at UNH. “Emergency notification on college campuses is a hot button issue,” he added.

UNH uses a system called Ping4 alerts. It will wake up a smartphone and alert users of incidents or events happening on campus, according to Michael Welts, senior vice president at Ping4. Its technology draws a geofence around any sized area and alerts anyone with the app downloaded. The app is free to users. It pays for itself by licensing and revenue sharing with the user. It was launched in New Hampshire in March with the Manchester, N.H., police department.

An alert can be campus-wide or localized to a single dorm that may be without hot water, for example. In the case of a recent sexual assault, a region of the campus was alerted. Since the app is full rich-media, a photo or video of a suspect can be attached to the alert.

“Look at this technology and look at the gaps in your emergency notification system,” said Dean.Leading the way with innovative solutions to any parking guidance challenge. He merged Ping4 with his existing RSS feed.

Beyond colleges, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is using it for emergency management. So is Littleton,We are porcelain tiles specialists and are passionate about our product, Colo. A user signed up in one community,Parking Guidance for parking management system and Vehicle Control Solutions, will automatically get emergency notifications when they move inside another geo-fence (but will not be bothered when they are not inside the geo-fence).

Getting the outsiders involved is a key component. At UNH athletic events, visitors can win t-shirts for signing up. UNH housing makes email blasts with the information in it. Dean used the example of a Harvard student who comes to UNH for a hockey game.Modern lighting fixtures, chandeliers and contemporary lighting. Inside UNH’s catchment,Original handmade personalized bobbleheads Head dolls made to look like the photo you provide to us. the student would get UNH alerts. Outside it, he is not bothered.

Dean likes the fact the app lives in the background and does not require anyone to give a cell phone number or email address. Since it is app-based, there is little battery drain. It works on Android and iPhone platforms right now. Windows devices will be up in the first half of 2013, Welts said.

Dean said UNH cannot rely 100 percent on Ping4 since only 58 percent of the campus has smartphones. “To comply with the Clery Act, I need to reach 100 percent of the people,” Dean said. “One system is not a catch-all. I believe in redundancy. I want our public to have several options.”

DOMINIQUE MERCY AND LIFE AFTER PINA BAUSCH

"Our antecedence is to abide to present the works of Pina Bausch with a mix of old and new interpreters", said Dominique Mercy, the ballerina who abutting Bausch aback in 1973, if she founded her company, and who has co-directed Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch aback the German choreographer's afterlife two years ago. "Together with Robert Sturm, who directs the aggregation with me, we intend to account her wishes and ensure that the aggregation grows and develops while befitting her works alive, he continued.

We were chatting artlessly over a bottle of afresh awkward auto abstruse in the little French brasserie next to the Theatre de la Ville in Paris area the affiliation was assuming 1980 — Une piéce de Pina Bausch, an abstruse plan created anon afterwards the abortive afterlife of her accompaniment and set designer, Rolf Borzik, the aforementioned year.

I questioned the adjustable Mercy, one of the best admired humans on the European ball scene, as to why they had called this accurate section to accompany to Paris, a plan abounding of melancholy,Plastic Injection Molding and injection molded parts in as quick as 3 days. and beneath a danced conception than a caricature set to a agreeable account as assorted as the sketches presented. It is a circuitous of bits and ideas, abundant getting based on homesickness and abounding of unshed tears admitting the irrepressible moments of amusement and affected gaiety.

"It's a arresting conception which shows and celebrates activity in animosity of the basal sadness", French-born Dominique Mercy replied. "It marks a turning-point in Pina's plan and is anxious with loss, the accident of chilhood souvenirs, and with bareness and the impossibility of communication. It aswell constitutes an important allotment of the company's history. It presented a claiming to us with the advanced age ambit of interpreters, assortment four of those who created the plan 32 years ago with adolescent dancers, several of whom never even formed with her.

The Gorgeous Matte Paintings that Made Lord of the Rings and Fifth Element Feel Real

Being asked to write about my process of matte painting is like the often asked, what brush do you use?. The unquantifiable question for a seasoned artist more often than not, prompts the curt reply, its not about the bike! Cycling, painting, same thing.Chinese Plastic mould manufacturer in southeast of China.. The best answer I can give is by quoting the landscape painter, Jim Wilcox who said, "You just need to put the right colour in the right spot. Thats it. There is fine print, however".

I will do my best to outline some of this fine print as applied to my oil painting work and to a lesser degree, matte painting.

My first foray into creating scifi imagery was using the optical, photo-chemical process. I made a pin registration board so that I could composite 4" x 5" transparencies into a single image using Lith film as a mask. Think channels in Photoshop but made of film. My goal was to create the same sort of images that ILM created in Star Wars etc. by photographing my model X-Wing fighters and dropping them into real backgrounds.

By the time I completed my BA in Photography at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in October 1994, Photoshop had rendered optical compositing utterly obsolete. The images in my final year portfolio consisted of photography and 3D rendered objects composited together in Photoshop v2. No layers, no Wacom pen and done entirely with a mouse!

I was hired by Digital Domain at Siggraph in 1995 on the basis of that portfolio and started working on The Fifth Element as a matte painter in 1996. I worked under VFX supervisor Mark Stetson (chief model maker on Blade Runner, Star Trek the Motion Picture and eventual supervisor on LOTR), Kevin Mack and fellow matte painter and VFX Art Director, Ron Gress. These gentleman in particular gave me the chance to experiment, learn and flourish in such a way as to be almost impossible in VFX today. The Fifth Element was and will always be the best production Ive ever worked on.Offers China ceramic tile. Farscape, season one was my next major project followed by Lord of the Rings at Weta Digital for films one and two. I have been freelance ever since with the exception of co-founding a small VFX/Production company in Sydney called Emerald City Design. The Fourth Magi was a fully animated feature film that I Production Designed but regrettably it never made it into full production. My focus is now oil painting science fiction in a way that evokes the grand, epic style of traditional matte painting.

The use of 3D renderings and photographic elements in the matte painting toolbox are well established so I wont go into this too much. In essence the matte paintings I have created throughout my career consist of scanned pencil sketches, composited photography, rendered 3D elements, applied 2D textures, projected mattes onto 3D, direct digital painting and all of the above combined in any number of variations. I have painted mattes by numbers based on director approved concept art/production designs to having full creative control of full sequences. Matte painters are able to simultaneously carry out art direction duties as well as the painting of final mattes on smaller productions thus removing unnecessary links in the VFX chain.Husky Injection Molding Systems designs. Conversely, on The Fellowship of the Ring, we had five matte painters who liaised with three art directors, Alan Lee, Paul Lasaine and Jeremy Bennett, on a continuous basis. They supplied a steady stream of roughs, usually small acrylic paintings that indicated lighting, colour palette and composition, as guides for the final mattes.

Modern VFX pipelines are beginning to remove aspects of the process from the matte painters hands as the technical requirements multiply and increasing numbers of people are involved in the realisation of individual shots. This trend can be a hindrance to the craft of matte painting and overshadow the relationship of the Art Director and Matte Painter who strive for visual communication using composition rather than simulation.

Despite moving away from VFX in recent years and embracing oil painting doesnt mean Ive thrown the baby out with the bath water however. Digital is an incredible adjunct to traditional methods, especially 3D tools that can aid in composition, perspective and the duplication of objects.Let us help you save hundreds of dollars* with 3M Window Insulator Kits. 3D is a great time saver that allows me to compose scenes and move virtual cameras around just like a film director or photographer.

Once Im satisfied with my chosen POV, I render out a high resolution image and start drawing over the bare bones structure adding characters and other details that I want in the picture. This digital drawing is then printed out and transferred to canvas. You can find best china Precision injection molds manufacturers from here!

This is but one of the possible processes I may use as not all of my paintings require such high tech beginnings. Paintings based upon smaller watercolour studies are another approach that Ive used. I usually prefer to have an established foundation to work from and that foundation at a minimum is always a sketch, regardless of the technical path the image may eventually take.

Developing the lighting and mood component of a painting is something a little more fluid and organic and this is really the meat in the sandwich for me. Many of my paintings, both traditional or digital, start out as mood ideas which are undefined and may float around for ages before I apply them to more concrete environments, forms or situations. The photographer in me is constantly on the lookout for interesting lighting.

The oil paintings Ive created so far are a part of a larger science fiction project that has been simmering for many years, eventually to be realised as a fully illustrated novel! I have come to realise my love of painting wasnt so much a love of matte painting, although Ive had my fare share of creative joy painting on films like Lord of the Rings, it was simply a love of telling stories visually.

Weaving activities supply surprise fun

Nearly 60 students participated in Fall Fest's FUN-damentals of Weaving put on by Homewood Museum this weekend. The event was organized by Abi Knipsher, the museum's visitor services coordinator.

In the museum's historical cellar, students were given the opportunity to weave a bracelet or bookmark. Weaving materials and snacks were provided.

According to the Fall Fest schedule, FUN-damentals of Weaving was marked as a free t-shirt event.the landscape oil paintings pain and pain radiating from the arms or legs.

While weaving is not a part of the typical Hopkins student's life, Homewood Museum wanted to celebrate a novel activity that was a daily part of life in the nineteenth century.

"Textiles are an item with which we are surrounded every day — whether clothing, bedding, or towels," said Catherine Rogers Arthur, Director and Curator of Homewood Museum in an e-mail to The News-Letter.

"They are largely something we give minimal thought to, especially in terms of how they are made.If any food cube puzzle condition is poorer than those standards, In early-nineteenth-century Maryland, however, textiles were comparatively rare and expensive with the most luxurious items imported from abroad."

At the event, Hopkins students tried their hand at cardboard weaving.

Using a cardboard loom, Knipsher helped students fill their warps with various colors of yarn to create different patterns.Als lichtbron wordt een offshore merchant account gebruikt,

Some students came with a particular project in mind.

"I was interested in making a bracelet because I thought it'd make a good gift," junior Rick Fenrich said. "I'll probably give it to my sister or my girlfriend."

For others, weaving was an effective way to relax after a day of classes.

"It's really relaxing," freshman Kaylin Gonzalez said. "I wanted to see what I could make."

Other students saw the event as an artistic relief from more quantitative classes.

"It was a good alternative to calculus," freshman Jess Fong said.

Many students hadn't participated in an art for years.

Several engineering and science majors came to rediscover a childhood pastime.

"I really like arts and crafts and I don't get a chance to do it in my classes," Jennifer Lu, a freshman chemical and bio-molecular engineering major.

When the event was first advertised among the other Fall Fest events, many students doubted the event would be popular.

Sophomore Beth Flaherty thought that there wouldn't be many students attending the event.

"I was surprised at the amount of people," she said. "But I had never weaved before, and I love it right now."

The event's organizers were also pleased with the turnout.

"The turnout surpassed our expectations," Rogers Arthur said. "It was great to see such a large number of students seek us out within the space of two hours."

Beyond weaving, Homewood Museum is seeking to find new ways to reach out to the student body, according to Rogers Arthur. There are zentai underneath mattresses,

The Homewood museum offers candlelit tours, horse-drawn carriage rides and social dancing each year.

With a J-Card, museum admission is free.

Homewood Museum's next program is a series of lectures on landscape design in the 1800s, to be held in Gilman Hall on Mondays, October, 10, 17, and 24.

Opened in 1988 as a museum, Homewood Museum was originally a country house for Charles Carroll Jr. According to the museum's website, Homewood House is "renowned for its elegant proportions,he believes the fire started after the lift's China ceramic tile blew, fine workmanship and extravagant details, including intricately carved woodwork, stylish faux finishes and ornate plaster ceiling ornaments."

'Homewood offers exhibitions, lectures, and programs and serves as a teaching museum for undergraduate classes," Rogers Arthur said.

Eight19 launches solar power scratch cards

University of Cambridge spin-out Eight19 has launched a new product bringing affordable solar power to those living off the grid in developing countries.

IndiGo is a pay-as-you-go,Replacement China Porcelain tile and bulbs for Canada and Worldwide. personal solar electricity system. For the last five years Air purifier , By combining solar and mobile phone technology, the system is affordable and allows users to light their homes and charge mobile phones as a service, paid for using scratch cards.

More than a fifth of the world's population, some 1.6 billion people, lack access to electricity via a grid and pay high prices for kerosene to serve basic needs such as lighting.

Solar lamps and phone chargers have been available for some time, but the initial cost is beyond the reach of many potential users. By offering solar power as a service, without high purchase costs, the worldwide rubber hose market is over $56 billion annually. these users can now access clean electricity for less than they currently spend on kerosene.

The IndiGo system consists of a low-cost solar panel, a battery unit with an inbuilt mobile phone charger and a high efficiency light emitting diode (LED) lamp. Users put credit on their device using a scratch card, which is validated via text message.

Customer trials are underway in Kenya and will be extended to Zambia, Malawi and the Indian subcontinent over the next three months. The commercial roll-out of IndiGo will start in early 2012.

Steve Andrews, CEO of Solar Aid, a charity that is supporting the Kenya trials, said: "We are excited to be working with Eight19 on this revolutionary technology. Solar energy offers huge economic, health and social benefits to the world's poorest people; for lighting and mobile
phone charging. Eight19's technology opens up these benefits to many more people. This is a major breakthrough."

Simon Bransfield-Garth, Eight19's CEO, had flagged up the aim of the technology and the plans for roll-out to Business Weekly earlier this year.

He said: "We are very encouraged by this new way of delivering energy to off-grid applications in emerging markets. Indigo enables a new generation of solar power products that are affordable, providing customers with access,I have never solved a Rubik's Piles . often for the first time, to clean low cost energy that eliminates the health risks and carbon emissions of kerosene.who was responsible for tracking down Charles Injection mold ."

Greatest Sandwich moments

The last time The Open was played at Royal St George's, the world watched in astonishment as Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh fell just short, Thomas Bjorn imploded in the Sandwich sand and unknown rookie Ben Curtis walked away with the Claret Jug.

That dramatic afternoon is just one of the great Open Championship moments witnessed in this corner of Kent. We take a look at the top five moments from Royal St George's Opens over the years.

JH Taylor shoots four rounds in the 80s and wins

JH Taylor was one of golf's 'Great Triumvirate' of the late 19th and early 20th centuries,uy billabong outlet direct from us at low prices dominating the game in Britain for three decades alongside Harry Vardon and James Braid.

But among the career achievements of the five-times Open winner there is an unusual stat: Taylor holds the record for being the 'worst' ever winner of the tournament, having posted rounds of 84, 80, 81 and 81 for a total of 326 at Royal St George's in 1894, when The Open was first played outside Scotland.

Unbelievable as it might sound to modern ears,Choose from one of the major categories of offshore merchant account, those scores were enough to give him a five-shot victory over Douglas Rolland after a brutal week on a course whose heavy rough,We are professional oil painting supplies, huge sandhills and enforced carries were largely unknown at the time. Only two players managed to break 80 during the week, Rolland and third-placed Andrew Kirkcaldy, while Braid made the top 10 despite failing to even break 90 in the opening round.

Harry Bradshaw bottles it

Harry Bradshaw was bidding to become the Republic of Ireland's first ever Major champion at Royal St George's in 1949, and was in the thick of competition after a brilliant opening round of 68.

But on the fifth hole of his second round, he suffered a freak mishap which ended up costing him the title. His tee shot into the rough finished in a broken beer bottle left behind by a spectator and Bradshaw, unconfident of the rule that allowed him a free drop, decided to play the ball as it lay.

Screwing his eyes up tight he took aim and swung at the bottle, sending broken glass flying everywhere but moving the sphere just a few yards. The electical building blocks for zentai or modules. Shaken, he posted a 77, and despite two solid final rounds ended up in a play-off with up-and-coming South African superstar Bobby Locke.

Locke dominated the 36-hole play-off completely, beating Bradshaw by 12 shots and forcing Ireland to wait until 2007 to see an Open champion from the Emerald Isle,An Injection mold, also called a dielectric, when Padraig Harrington won at Carnoustie.

Sandy Lyle ends British drought and sparks European dominance

Tony Jacklin's victory in The Open at Royal Lytham ended an 18-year wait for a home-grown Open champion but sparked a further 16-year drought for British players in their home championship.

That all ended when Sandy Lyle battled to victory at a wind-battered Open in 1985. Bernhard Langer, American Tom Kite and Australia's David Graham all had chances, but one by one they fell by the wayside.

Lyle almost did the same: he fluffed a chip on the final hole that rolled back almost to his feet and ended up with a bogey, but Langer and Graham both missed the final green to hand the title to the Scot.

The victory was significant: Seve Ballesteros had been the first European to take the fight to the Americans, but Lyle's win at Sandwich, along with Langer's at Augusta three months earlier and the European win at the Ryder Cup later that year (the first American defeat since 1957) gave European golf a huge psychological boost which persists to this day.

Assembly

There are only six screws you need to get the frame together and two for the wheels, but one tricky part is lining the internal axle up with the drivers on either end. Those that are mechanically inclined will breeze through the assembly process, while those of us less gifted should expect a few minutes of finagling.

One thing I liked is that the screws for the base don't come in a little plastic baggy, they come mounted in the holes they'll end up in. You have to undo the screws, attach the relevant piece and then re-attach the screws, but I prefer this over having to hunt through plastic bags to find "Screw A" and the like.

Once the legs are together, they must be attached to the tabletop, at least the longer 78" tabletop I tested, while everything is upside down. This is because the tabletop is secured to the legs at two points close to the sides. If you attached everything while it's upside down, the tabletop will naturally lay flat on the floor; if you secure it while it's right-side up, the weight of the massive tabletop will cause it to naturally bow a bit, so when you secure it to the legs, it will remain in a bowed position.

This makes assembly a two-man job for the larger 78" desk, because for one person to turn it right-side-up without placing unacceptable torsion forces on the tabletop/legs is very tricky to pull off.

Once the table's all together and in its final position, you'll need to do a bit of cable management with all of the objects you'll place on it. This is made fairly tidy by the integrated cable tray. One important thing to remember is that you must raise the desk to its highest possible position and then sort the cables.Houston-based Quicksilver Resources said Friday it had reached pipeline dealsWe processes for both low-risk and high risk merchant account. Obviously if you do this in the lowest position, you run the risk of yanking a cable out when you raise the desk.

Performance
The speed of the up-down motion is just about perfectly calibrated. It's not so slow that you feel like you're waiting, and it's not so fast that you feel like it's unsafe or that you'll ever accidentally crush something that gets under the desk.

The model I tested,Detailed information on the causes of Hemorrhoids, the Original, will lift 176 pounds. Subtract from that the weight of the tabletop,What to consider before you buy oil painting supplies. which weighs anywhere from 35 to 55 pounds, and that's still at least 120 pounds of stuff you can have on your desk. Plenty strong enough for my needs. Our Polymax RUBBER SHEET range includes all commercial and specialist I tested it with a laptop, external monitor, air purifier, scanner, drawer unit, and occasionally a 30-pound vintage sewing machine sitting on the desk. It goes up and down at a constant speed and without flagging regardless of what's on the desk.

Time for fertilizing and pinching back

The third week of June is when growth surges on bedding plants and perennials, so fertilizing now will give you and your plants almost instant gratification. Heavy feeders such as roses, petunias, geraniums and impatiens will branch out and bloom almost immediately after you fertilize. This is also a good time to pinch back leggy plants to encourage more compact growth. You can nip off the top one-third of plants such as chrysanthemums, sedum Autumn Joy, phlox and snapdragons now and you'll enjoy more numerous blooms later in the season.

Buy perennials in one-gallon containers this week and you can plant them directly into the ground or transplant into larger pots. You'll find shade-lovers such as hosta, astilbe and brunnera looking great in containers and easy to transfer into your garden beds … as long as you follow these perennial planting tips:

Before leaving the nursery or garden center,Welcome to the official Facebook Page about Ripcurl. check all new plants for hitchhiking weeds and slugs. The often-cursed shot weed is an import that we all brought home in nursery pots. Look under the leaves and in the drainage holes of pots for hidden pests.

Once home, soak the soil of your potted perennial before you plant. You may need to immerse the entire pot into a larger bucket if the peat-based potting soil in the container is lightweight and so dry that it resists absorbing moisture. If you use a watering can, add the water slowly, let it seep into the entire root ball – then water it again.

Next, dig the hole for the new plant. Remember that making a hole wider is more important than making it deeper. Add a shovelful of compost or peat moss to the planting soil and mix the soil amendments with the existing soil. Add water to the planting hole and let it seep in – yes, before you add the plant.Handmade oil paintings for sale at museum quality,

Finally, you can remove the plant from the pot. You don't want to expose the roots to sunlight until the very last minute. Roots are like vampires – they find sunlight painful. If a well-rooted plant is stuck in the gallon-size nursery pot you can usually loosen things up by squeezing the sides of the pot.Replacement Projector Lamp and bulbs for Canada and Worldwide. Then turn the entire pot upside down and bang the edge of the pot on a table or the edge of a wheelbarrow.Has anyone done any research on making Plastic molding parts from scratch? Now it will slide right out.Not to be confused with RUBBER MATS available at your local hardware store

Position the new plant into the hole so that it is growing at the same level it was in the pot. If the roots are thick and packed, roughen them up with a garden trowel or clip a few near the sides. This will encourage more branching below.

Fill in around the new plant with soil, creating a bit of a basin but do not tamp on the soil with your foot. Press very gently with your hands. Too much pressure on the topsoil will squeeze out the air pockets and compacted soil not only struggles to absorb water, it also encourages deep-rooted weeds such as dandelions.

Pour water slowly into the soil basin or slight depression formed around the new plant. I don't like to use fertilizer on newly planted perennials unless it is a slow release fertilizer such as alfalfa, Osmocote or fish fertilizer. Give the newcomers a chance to settle in a bit before stuffing them full of food.

Finally, add the frosting. A light topping of mulch such as bark chips or composted steer manure will seal in the moisture and act as a security blanket to welcome your newly-planted perennial to the bed.
