I've been watching the BBC drama The

Friday, or Partying at a Palace with Poncho
Those four words are easy to type and even easier to read, but the journey to make them a reality has been anything but. The river resembles a dark lightning strike cutting a swath through the jungle, its main body constantly breaking off into jagged streams and tributaries until it finally meets up with the Amazon. It’s an awesome and belittling thing to see from above as it appears endless in every visible direction… and then you hit Manaus, a city of two million people sitting squarely in the middle of the jungle.
After a long but uneventful walk through customs I exited into the airport’s public space and a world where I couldn’t understand a single word of Portuguese, written or spoken. I should probably make it clear that this trip was my first to a country where I don’t speak the language. I took French in high school from a bitter old German woman, so I didn’t even have Spanish as a backup. (And my ability to recite Mein Kampf in French would most likely not come in handy.) It was both exhilarating and terrifying (about 70/30), and I couldn’t help but flash scenes from Elite Squad and Turistas through my head.
After meeting up with the folks charged with keeping me alive, out of jail, and with organs intact we headed over to the beautiful and historic Amazonas Opera House (aka Teatro Amazonas) for the day’s films. Leon's Furniture will keep opening stores despite sluggish economy
Ignoring the economic environment, Leon's Furniture has added four new corporate stores as well as two new franchises to its network over the past few weeks, bringing its total count to 73 locations.
Leon's, which has stores in every Canadian province save British Columbia, is pursuing an aggressive investment strategy in the company's future.
The wave of grand openings started in August when the publicly held and family-managed furniture and appliance merchant opened a 76,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse (or "superstore" in the company's parlance) in Guelph, Ontario.
Since then it has added a second corporate store of 42,000 square feet in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga. Earlier this month, it opened an 84,000-square-foot corporate store in Regina, Saskatchewan,Whilst RUBBER SHEET are not deadly, and its fifth Montreal-area location,Als lichtbron wordt een zentai suits gebruikt, a 47,000-square-foot unit in Rosemerè, Quebec.

In addition to the new stores, Leon's is also renovating two of its corporate stores as well as four franchise locations in Trenton, Kemptville and Simcoe, Ontario, and St. John, New Brunswick.
The company is financing the campaign internally and it remains debt-free.
"We're in a very strong financial position," Leon said, adding that tough economic times often produce significant savings for companies looking to expand. "Just as our customers are looking for value when they're in our stores, we like to get the best value when we expand."
Leon's is looking to add three to five stores, both corporate and franchise, per year over the next five years. This will put the retailer in a strong position when the economy fully recovers and consumers are once again spending on furniture, appliances and mattresses, officials said.he led PayPal to open its platform to Piles developers.

13 rescued as tenement blaze traps residents
FIREFIGHTERS rescued 13 people from a burning building during a major emergency operation at the Shore.
Seven casualties were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation but nobody was seriously injured.

Around 45 firefighters tackled the flames and rescued people from windows at the front and side of the tenement on Waters Close using a turntable ladder and a hydraulic platform.

Fire service telephone operators provided survival guidance for residents trapped in flats above the blaze.
Initial reports suggested some residents had been unaccounted for but fire crews carried out multiple rescues and fought the flames using breathing kits and high pressure hose reels.
Four people were rescued by hydraulic platform, one by ladder and others were led to safety by firefighters using the stairs.
It is understood the occupant of the flat where the fire sparked had been in a nearby pub and was contacted by a friend to say her home was ablaze.
When she arrived at the scene the woman was said to be “hysterical” and believed her parents may have been inside.
Witnesses told how smoke was bellowing from the first floor windows while flames could be seen tearing through the flat.
David Young, group commander at Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service, said: “[We were told] there was the possibility there were people trapped inside the building. When we arrived there was a well developed fire in the first floor flat above the Waterline Pub.
“We performed multiple rescues using a hydraulic platform at the front and the side of the building while there was also a rescue using a ladder at Waters Close.ceramic magic cube for the medical, No one has been reported injured at this point.

Fire service telephone operators provided survival guidance for residents trapped in flats above the blaze.
Initial reports suggested some residents had been unaccounted for but fire crews carried out multiple rescues and fought the flames using breathing kits and high pressure hose reels.
Four people were rescued by hydraulic platform, one by ladder and others were led to safety by firefighters using the stairs.
It is understood the occupant of the flat where the fire sparked had been in a nearby pub and was contacted by a friend to say her home was ablaze.
When she arrived at the scene the woman was said to be “hysterical” and believed her parents may have been inside.
Witnesses told how smoke was bellowing from the first floor windows while flames could be seen tearing through the flat.
David Young, group commander at Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service, said: “[We were told] there was the possibility there were people trapped inside the building. When we arrived there was a well developed fire in the first floor flat above the Waterline Pub.
“We performed multiple rescues using a hydraulic platform at the front and the side of the building while there was also a rescue using a ladder at Waters Close.ceramic magic cube for the medical, No one has been reported injured at this point.

Baltimore interior designer and stylist Stephanie Bradshaw suggested adding from the collection one piece at a time.
"There were some select pieces that I really liked,As many processors back away from third party merchant account ," said Bradshaw, who owns Bradshaw Styling. "But I wouldn't want my room to look like I bought the entire Target line."
Tell that to the customer who left the Target in Cockeysville with four carts full of Missoni merchandise totaling more than $4,000.
