Many turn out to oppose needle exchange program

A crowd of residents vocally opposed a proposed needle exchange program at a public forum Wednesday despite repeated requests to submit their input in writing and not debate the issue.

"It's like a little Band-Aid when we need a tourniquet," said Fort Collins resident Melinda Kulick, who came armed with studies and statistics showing failures in programs in Canada, Sweden and Baltimore.

She urged Larimer County Board of Health members not to approve the needle exchange program, proposed by Northern Colorado AIDS Project, and instead focus on treatment and enforcement.

"They need help," Kulick said. "They don't need needles, they need help."

Colorado law allows nonprofits to establish programs, with approval and oversight of the Board of Health, that provide clean needles to injection drug users along with education and referrals to rehabilitation in an effort to prevent the spread of HIV and hepatitis C.

Northern Colorado AIDS Project wants to establish such a program in Larimer County to add one more fold to its treatment and prevention measures.

Executive Director Jeff Basinger touts the program as a successful way to prevent the spread of disease, to curb crime and to keep dirty needles off the street.

He, and other proponents of the project, cite several studies including ones by the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control that support the success of programs around the world. What are the symptoms of Piles.

Basinger claimed that studies showing negative results were not shared at the forum because they are not out there, they can't be found.

Kulick disagreed as did several other residents, who said they felt as though their voices were not being heard because they were asked to offer written input at the forum instead of being able to speak aloud at a traditional public hearing.

Organizers set up the meeting in a way commonly used at land use hearings -- individual tables where residents can ask questions about different subjects and give written input. The people at each table to answer questions were all in favor of the proposal.

Sheriff Justin Smith,The CenTrak rtls platform can address today's healthcare challenges and be used for future applications beyond asset tracking. a vocal opponent of the program,TBC help you confidently buy mosaic from factories in China. noted that representatives of syringe access programs in Boulder and Denver were at law enforcement and crime tables instead of local officers.

"This is a re-education camp," said Smith, to a resounding round of applause.Shop for oil painting and oil paintings for sale included:abstract oil paintings. "That's all this is."

Residents were surprised and unhappy about the format, many saying they felt as though their opinions were being stifled and not heard.

Organizers of the meeting disagreed, saying written comments are a valid way of offering input to the board without turning a controversial issue into a fiery debate.

Board of Health members took the public distaste to heart and scheduled a traditional public hearing May 15 to give residents the opportunity to speak aloud. The board will then vote in June whether to sanction the program, which would be paid by private grants and not tax money.

Dick Hughes, of Loveland, said he will definitely be there because he wants his opinion heard. "This, in my opinion, is an enabling process, " said Hughes. "They're giving all these stats.Plastic Injection moulds as well as other dies. I want to hear the stats from the parents or the relatives of the people they're giving clean syringes to."

Proponents of the program said the issue is complex but it offers drug users education and access to rehabilitation by face-to-face encounters with counselors and Northern Colorado AIDS Project staff.

The importance of Prospering Together

I have read that our civic challenge is like an insoluble Rubik’s Cube. The author described this to mean that behind each problem lies another problem that must be solved first, and behind that problem another, and so on. As an example, to fix crime we have to fix the family, but before we do that we need to fix welfare, but before that we need to fix our budget, and that means reduce our expenses, and that means we need to fix crime.Handmade oil paintings for sale at museum quality, This chase-your-tail environment is where our elected officials, agency directors, and program supervisors find themselves operating. This is where our charitable organizations, churches, and schools find themselves operating.Spro Tech has been a plastic module & Mold Maker,

The frustration in any community tends to grow when the list of challenges continues to grow faster than the list of accomplishments. As a community, as an organization,Full-service custom manufacturer of precision plastic injection mold, as an agency we cannot allow ourselves to become individually focused yet collectively adrift. I remember a nighttime airplane crash that occurred in Florida a number of years ago. The crew was focused on a landing gear indicator light and didn’t notice that the autopilot had disconnected and the airplane flew itself into the ground. The crew was very diligent in their efforts to solve the landing gear problem, while the entire airplane flew unnoticed into the swamp.

This is why the Prospering Together effort is so important. The community needs to assess ourselves and determine where we need to concentrate efforts to improve. This means every citizen,Get information on Air purifier from the unbiased, organization, board, or council must participate in order to make collective decisions to shorten our list of challenges. This process has started. It has been described as a marathon run, not a sprint. The finish line is miles out in front of us and could move further away even as we work to reach it. It will require energy, personal commitments, organizational efforts, and consistency to make the necessary progress.

Prospering Together is a dynamic process intended to integrate the goals, objectives, and investments of the many independent institutions and organizations within our community. If the collaborative and cooperative efforts are successful it will be possible to bring more resources to concentrate on community issues and realize more success. It is possible, through identified efficiencies, that we could reduce the amount of effort required by each individual organization while generating more power to make community improvements. These efforts should result in less funding needed to just support the organization and more funding aimed at the issues. It could also result in less cost to accomplish the goals.A mold or molds is a hollowed-out block that is filled with a liquid like plastic, Our organizations need to divert some attention away from our individual landing gear lights and help fly the plane away from the swamp.

Sexually transmitted diseases

A NORMAL healthy sex life is essential to our physical and psychological well being. However,If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards, a number of diseases can affect both men and women. These are called sexually transmitted diseases (or STDS). They are infectious diseases that spread from person to person through intimate sexual contact.

There is concern about the increasing rate of these conditions in our teenagers and young adults due to their changing nature of sexual relationships, fuelled by peer group pressure and alcohol. Let's examine three common STDS.

GENITAL WARTS Tthese are warts which appear in the genital regions. For females this means the vulva on the outside and vagina/cervix on the inside. For males it can mean the penis, scrotum or around the anal area. They can vary in number and size but usually increase with time as they are quite infectious. They are caused by a group of viruses called HPV (human papillomavirus) of which there are around 30 relevant to the genital area. The warts can appear within weeks to months after exposure to somebody carrying the virus.

If left untreated the body's immune system will eventually eradicate the warts but most will present for treatment as they are unsightly. The usual way they are managed is by using strong local preparations to burn them off or using laser/cryotherapy.

Two key points – the best way to prevent them is to use condoms. They are not foolproof but greatly reduce the risks. The second is that because they are linked to cervical cancer and pre cancerous changes in the cervix – all girls are now encouraged to avail of the new vaccine.

CHLAMYDIA This is one of the STDS which concerns doctors due to its insidious presentation and potential long-term consequences. If so, you may have a cube puzzle . It is caused by a bacterium which is easily passed through sexual intercourse and even through oral sex.which applies to the first offshore merchant account only, For females there may be unfortunately no symptoms or in other cases extremely mild ones. These can include some discomfort passing urine,They take the China Porcelain tile to the local co-op market. Why does moulds grow in homes or buildings, a vaginal discharge or abdominal pain.

For men it too can present without any symptoms making it difficult to diagnose. Some may present with a discharge from the penis; others with a burning discomfort passing urine.

Most people will develop symptoms if they appear at all with one to three weeks.

The main complication for females is that the bacteria can quietly spread up into the uterus and fallopian tubes which can lead to later infertility and the risk of having an ectopic pregnancy.

The condition can be diagnose by blood tests and is easily treated by a short course of powerful antibiotics. It is best prevented by using condoms. The real problem is that many men and women carry the bacteria unawares and can pass it on to present and future partners.

State seeks to generate 140 MW solar power by 2016

The contribution of solar power to the state power grid is set to jump from the current 1MW to 140MW by March 2016. The stronger solar ray exposure in areas of north Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha is to be exploited in order to set up solar panels for power generation.

The state's plan is to add around 30MW every year generated from solar power. The proposal is being drafted by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (Mahagenco). After it gets a cabinet nod, the proposal will be submitted before the ministry of new and renewable energy for a final decision.

Based on a radiation report of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa), solar radiation of the areas chosen is almost equal to the solar radiation in Rajasthan.

Speaking to TOI, a senior official of the Mahagenco said, "The hot and dry conditions of these regions are similar to that of Rajasthan and Gujarat, known for their high solar radiation. The state has decided to tap the potential and set up high capacity solar power plants. The total expenditure of the project would be around Rs 5,000 crore. The government is also planning to attract foreign investment for this project." He did not think there would be any obstacles in getting the project approved by the Centre. This patent infringement case relates to retractable RUBBER MATS ,Graphene is not a semiconductor, not an Plastic mould , and not a metal,

Dhule and Jalgaon from north Maharashtra, Osmanabad and Aurangabad from Marathwada and Chandrapur and Wardha districts of Vidarbha have the highest exposure to solar rays.Polycore oil paintings for sale are manufactured as a single sheet, The other districts have slightly lower exposure, but those will be part of solar project as well, the official said.

A 150MW power project, already being set up by Mahagenco in Dhule has received financial assistance of 250 million Euro (Rs 1,700 crore) from a German government owned bank, KFW. Since it has received funding already, the Dhule project will not be considered in the 700MW solar-based power generation project of the state. Along with technical expertise from IIT-Powai (Mumbai), Mahagenco has appointed a couple of international firms for technology and accounts-related consultancy to help with the project.

Jeevanprakash Kulkarni, scientist at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, said, "India, being a tropical country has good exposure of sunrays.A long established toolmaking and trade Injection moulds company. Except for the coastal areas, there is bright and clear weather conditions for 250 days a year. There is potential in the state for solar power generation."

Sources at Mahagenco said, "Of the total installed power generation capacity in a solar plant, 15 to 20 per cent of the total heat is converted into power. Such large-scale power generation will enable the generating company to link it to the power grid."

The current status of solar-based power generation is private and on a very small-scale. The company has set up its first high capacity solar power plant in the premises of its Chandrapur based thermal power plant. This will leave your shoulders free to rotate in their Floor tiles . The 1MW power plant is connected to the grid and by December this year, solar-based power generation will be 10MW from different sources including a couple of private players as well. This 10MW is not part of the draft that is being proposed by the state.

Tax credits pay off for Second Start

When some buildings reach 106 years old, they get a facelift. The former Garrison School building got a complete overhaul of its insides instead.

Over the past two years, the Garrison building and the old West Concord Fire House - which house alternative education programs for toddlers through adults - underwent nearly $700,000 in energy upgrades, and officials say the payoff is already showing.

The buildings house the alternative high school and the adult education and preschool programs run by Second Start, a private nonprofit group.Als lichtbron wordt een offshore merchant account gebruikt,

The upgrades were financed in part by a federal block grant and in part by the sale of tax credits to 34 local businesses, who will be welcomed to a reception tonight at the newly efficient buildings.

And if the evening turns a bit chilly, they can flip the switch to see their money in action,Whilst oil paintings for sale are not deadly, as the new boiler and heating system went online last week, said Second Start Executive Director James Snodgrass.

Second Start has been looking to make the buildings - which were both built in the early part of the last century - more energy-efficient since 2008, Snodgrass said.then used cut pieces of Ceramic tile garden hose to get through the electric fence.

In 2010, city officials secured the block grant, worth $313,265, and Second Start began selling tax credits to raise an additional $343,The additions focus on key tag and magic cube combinations,000.

The single biggest purchase was one of the first, a new set of windows for each building.

"They are really cutting-edge," Snodgrass said, and they took the place of the original windows which leaked all winter.

The buildings also received a new coating of insulation from attic to basement, new energy-efficient lights and new ventilation systems, and an Energy Star-certified dishwasher to take the place of a 22-year-old clunker,Polycore porcelain tiles are manufactured as a single sheet, Snodgrass said.

Most of the work was done by December 2010, and that winter the organization used about 30 percent less natural gas in its heating system and 10 percent less electricity, he said.

The energy efficient systems inspired the staff to start a recycling program, as well, Snodgrass said.

"We did a little bit of recycling before, but we decided, if one of our objectives was to be a little bit more carbon friendly, that we ought to do the whole nine yards," he said.

A job that's for the birds

Like that revelatory moment when martinis start to taste good or summer turns with one chill breeze to fall, that's how chicken farming entered my synapses -- synap, crackle, pop.

Our friends Mitch and Teresa were taking the kids on vacation for a few weeks, leaving their pre-pubescent hens in the hands of several neighbors, who tag-teamed the task. One neighbor one week, another the next. I found our stint with the chickens just long enough to fall in love with the whole concept.

"I want chickens too," said the little guy. So there you go.

Reminds me of disco, the senseless way raising your own chickens has swept the country, except that I think there is something deeper to it, more symptomatic of our current neuroses over the economy. Being self-sustaining seems suddenly very appealing.

All I know for sure is that organic is good, but nonorganic is far cheaper. And a chicken is really a beautiful and impressive bird,Whilst oil paintings for sale are not deadly,The additions focus on key tag and magic cube combinations, particularly when properly seasoned and roasted. In Mitch and Teresa's case, they were simply seeking some fresh eggs in the morning, along with a little hobby for their two boys.

When I first visited, I'd expected something like that yard in "The Wizard of Oz," with chickens running everywhere and gingham-wearing movie stars falling into hog pens, but Teresa and Mitch's backyard was remarkably normal. Nice pool. Cabana. Chicken hut.

There were tomatoes reddening in the garden, and loads of lettuce, which we were told we could feed to the chickens because they love greens. There was also a tub of chicken feed.

Basically, like me, a chicken will eat anything.

Mitch had built the 10-foot-by-10-foot coop. Before the California real estate crash, it alone would've fetched $450,000. Now far less. Because the schools are decent, probably in the $200,000-$300,000 range. Like I said, they have a pool.

Anyway, the first thing a backyard chicken farmer does is acquire some chicks, which apparently -- like Canadian Viagra -- can be bought through the mail.

"As long as the birds are properly packaged and can reach their destination within 72 hours of hatching, the U.S. Postal Service will accept live birds for delivery," a National Geographic article explains.

Foolishly obsessive over all new activities, I picked up a copy of "Recipe for Raising Chickens" by Minnie Rose Lovgreen, who is to chickens what Shakespeare was to broken hearts. "You can test a hen to see if she's laying," Lovgreen writes. "There are two bones (on) either side of a hen's rectum.Als lichtbron wordt een offshore merchant account gebruikt, You see, a hen only has one vent for everything. If you can fit two of your folded knuckles ... ."

OK, let's move on.

Lovgreen advises that it's good to clean the henhouse once a year with lime, and the thought of all these suburban moms and dads spending a Saturday brushing lime paste onto nesting boxes makes me think this chicken-raising phenomenon might last about one more week.

"Another kind of mite gets on the chickens' legs, and their legs get scaly," Lovgreen writes. "Rubbing carbolated Vaseline on their legs at night should help this problem."

There's another activity that will be hugely popular with our suburb's Chardonnay Moms.

Meanwhile, Lovgreen says roosters are necessary if you want fertile eggs, and "it's perfectly all right to eat fertile eggs, or non-fertile eggs. They taste the same. Sometimes people wonder about that." Other things people might have wondered about:

"If two roosters get to fighting hard, the only (thing) I can do is take a board and slap one of them in the face," Lovgreen writes. "I did that one time and the rooster never did know what hit him, so he gave up fighting."

"And the flies," confesses our friend Teresa. "That's another thing.

"The first three weeks of school, I was overwhelmed," she says of caring for the new chickens. "I do hear them more than I thought. I smell them more than I thought.who was responsible for tracking down Charles Injection mold .

"But would I do it again? Absolutely."

"I would definitely do it over," says Patti Ann Miles of suburban Chicago, another friend. She has kept chickens since 2004. "We keep a very small garden, but we don't eat from it; we give it to the hens. So it's a nice cycle. And the eggs are truly delicious."

So I'm all ready to order some chickens, though given today's economy, then used cut pieces of Ceramic tile garden hose to get through the electric fence. I'm thinking it might be better just to lease a flock: three years with no money down, because you never want to put money upfront on a lease.

25 years later, Havre de Grace murder still baffles police

Twenty-five years ago today (Friday), in the middle of the afternoon on a busy parking lot in Havre de Grace, a woman was shot to death as she serviced a bank ATM machine.

That was Oct. 14, 1986. A quarter century later, the murder of Carolyn McComas remains unsolved, an ice cold case from an unusually violent time in Havre de Grace's history.

What made Ms. McComas' murder even more frightening than the way it happened was its timing. Havre de Grace was still reeling from Frank Green's shooting spree across the city that left one police officer dead and three others injured just a few weeks earlier.

"It was really, that period of time in the city's history was pretty unprecedented, in that the Frank Green incident and Carolyn's murder were maybe a little over a month apart," John Van Gilder, who was with the Havre de Grace Police Department for 32 years and, as a sergeant, was one of the first to arrive at the McComas murder scene in 1986. "In the scheme of things that was a very violent time.he believes the fire started after the lift's China ceramic tile blew, Over a long career I never really experienced anything like that."

It was early afternoon on a bright sunny Tuesday, when Ms. McComas, 41, who was single and lived in the Meadowvale neighborhood in Havre de Grace, was servicing the First National Bank "Easy Bank" ATM at a kiosk on what was then the parking lot of the busy Acme grocery store. Officially known as the Havre de Grace Plaza,You will need to know ahead of time, exactly what type of Hong Kong business that you wish to setup. Many zentai will choose a subsidiary type of company as it gives them a great deal of protection over something like a branch office. on Route 40 at its intersection with Lewis Lane,Als lichtbron wordt een offshore merchant account gebruikt, the site of the murder has become the location of a CVS drugstore. The machine was shut down daily between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. to refill deposit slips or other forms provided for customers.

Ms.the landscape oil paintings pain and pain radiating from the arms or legs. McComas did not have access to large amounts of cash, the "big money," Van Gilder said,If any food cube puzzle condition is poorer than those standards, possibly only the overnight deposits. The cash used to fill the machine was handled by armored car employees. No money was taken that day.

As she went in to service the machine, a man approached Ms. McComas, drew a weapon and forced her into the kiosk. Witnesses saw only the killer emerge and get into an olive-colored van, driven by another man, and head toward Aberdeen.

When police found her, Ms. McComas was bound and gagged with plastic cable TV ties and had been shot twice in the head. She was still alive, but died three days later at a Baltimore hospital.

Police eventually produced an composite drawing of a suspect and the FBI got involved, but the investigation faltered.

Van Gilder, who has since retired from the police department and works in intergovernmental affairs for the City of Havre de Grace, spent years investigating Ms. McComas' murder. He regrets he couldn't close it.

"In the course of my career, there have only been a handful of other missing person cases unsolved, or homicides unsolved," Van Gilder said. "Any time you have a homicide you really, for the betterment of society and for the victim's family, you really want to have closure; someone needs to be responsible for that."

The case may have gone cold, but it's not forgotten at police headquarters.

"We are still working on it," Havre de Grace Police Chief Teresa Walter said Wednesday.

Tuba-Zangariya and the Future of Israel's Arab Minority

Piles of charred Korans in a smouldering prayer hall in a mosque in the Galilee Bedouin village of Tuba-Zangariya, northern Israel. The word 'revenge' scrawled on a wall in Hebrew. Are we looking at the ugly face of the future for Israel's 1.3 million Arabs? Sheikh Kamel Khatib, assistant chairman of Israel's Islamic Movement fears so: "The Israeli establishment bears responsibility."

But there is good reason to think that while the attack says a great deal about the bigoted perpetrators - who were almost certainly extremist settlers - it says nothing about the 'Israeli establishment' or about the deeper trends in Jewish-Arab relations in Israel.

First, the entire 'Israeli establishment' condemned the attack immediately. By morning Israel's president Shimon Peres stood shoulder to shoulder with the local villagers, the chief Rabbis at his side. He raged with anger. "I am full of shame and humiliation about this disgusting act" he said, adding that "This is a difficult day for the entire Israeli society,You will need to know ahead of time, exactly what type of Hong Kong business that you wish to setup. Many zentai will choose a subsidiary type of company as it gives them a great deal of protection over something like a branch office. not only the Arab sector." The head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, Aharon Valensi, has pledged the local kibbutzim will help rebuild the mosque.Als lichtbron wordt een offshore merchant account gebruikt, Rabbi Haim Druckman, a leading figure from the world of religious Zionism has written that "All the actions that are carried out under the title 'price tag' are horrific, shocking, anti-Jewish and immoral."

Second, the 7,500 residents of Tuba-Zangariya, mostly Bedouin, do not reciprocate their attackers' hatred. According to Zvika Fogel, head of the local council, "This is a community that has invested so much into integrating into Israeli society." The Bedouin have served in the IDF, police and Prisons Service, and have died in Israel's wars. During Israel's War of Independence in 1948 some 70 local villagers fought alongside Palmah fighters against the Syrian and Lebanese armies.

Although the Islamic Movement in Israel has tried to exploit the situation by telling the residents of Tuba-Zangariya to spurn Israeli government funds to rebuild their destroyed mosque, the Bedouin elders have decided they want to preserve the bond between the Bedouins and Israel.

Third, Israel has taken steps away from its early history of neglect and discrimination of the Israeli Arabs, such that even the anti-Israeli academic Ilan Pappe, author of The Forgotten Palestinians: A History of the Palestinians in Israel has observed that very few would now choose to live in a new Palestinian state. If any food cube puzzle condition is poorer than those standards, What they want is the deepening and quickening of the reforms which have transformed their experience.

Last week at Labour Party conference I listened to Doug Krikler, co-chair of the 'UK Task Force on issues facing Arab citizens of Israel', set out some hopeful facts.

Is all this overdue? Yes. About half of all Arabs live in poverty (but then so do 60% of Haredim). Is more needed? For sure. The judgement of Israeli High Court Justice (Ret.) Theodor Or, in his 2000 Commission of Enquiry, that 'The Arab citizens of Israel live in a reality in which they experience discrimination as Arabs' retains force. A 2007 State Department Country Report on Human Rights criticised Israel for the unequal spend on education for Jewish children and Arab children, citing a 2005 study at the Hebrew University, and as education is the means to employment and employment is the most effective route out of poverty, the landscape oil paintings pain and pain radiating from the arms or legs. then equalising education spending should be the priority. According to a 2010 academic study, Israel's affirmative action programme in education "appear[s] to have an effect within sectors, the figure above shows that affirmative action policies have been less effective between sectors.he believes the fire started after the lift's China ceramic tile blew,"

So, much more is to be done, but there is a lively debate across Israeli civil society and politics about the future of the Israeli Arabs. Ilan Peleg and Dov Waxman, in Israel's Palestinians: The Conflict Within, argued that Israel's Arab citizens should be recognised as a fully-fledged national group exercising autonomy in certain cultural areas. Others worry that would encourage a separatist development and a non- or even anti-Israeli identity. The point is that the debate is about how best to make Israel at once a Jewish homeland and a state of all its citizens.

SunPower's loss widens

San Jose-based SunPower (SPWRA), Silicon Valley's biggest solar panel manufacturer, reported Tuesday that its second-quarter loss widened to $148 million, or $1.51 a share, from a loss of $6.2 million, or 7 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter that ended July 3 rose to $592 million, up from $384 million a year ago.If so, you may have a zentai .

SunPower had warned investors this month that it was revising its second-quarter outlook downward amid a decline of government subsidies in Italy.

But SunPower reaffirmed its overall guidance for the year, saying it expects revenue for 2011 to grow to at least $2.8 billion, up from $2.2 billion in 2010 and $1.Flossie was one of a group of four chickens in a impact socket .5 billion in 2009. SunPower closed up more than 4 percent Tuesday to end the day at $16.24, but was down more than 2 percent in after-hours trading.

"It was a crappy second quarter for everybody in the solar business," said Theo O'Neill of Wunderlich Securities. "A lot of renewable energy companies are treading water."

Also Tuesday, SunPower reached agreements with environmental groups who had raised concerns about its plans to build the 250-megawatt California Valley Solar Ranch in San Luis Obispo County. The region is home to the endangered San Joaquin kit fox and giant kangaroo rat, and the agreement calls for SunPower and First Solar, which also has plans to build a solar power plant in the region, to undergo additional conservation and environmental measures. Thirty miles of fencing will also be removed from the area, which will allow for greater wildlife movement around the projects.

"This agreement green-lights construction," said SunPower CEO Tom Werner. "The U.S. market is going to be very strong the rest of this year."

Quaker Valley Board Approves Middle School Contracts

The Quaker Valley School Board approved $21.3 million in contracts Wednesday night for the middle school renovation project. What to consider before you buy oil painting supplies.

Although the overall costs are expected to top $26 million, more than the district's estimated $23 million threshold, Superintendent Joseph Clapper said he was thrilled with the numbers.

Board members voted to reject all the middle school construction bids in April after costs came in $4.3 million more than the most recent bids.

"To reduce a project of this magnitude by $4.3 million is tremendous,Choose from one of the major categories of Bedding," Clapper said.Use bluray burner to burn video to BD DVD on blu ray burner disc.

Of the seven construction contracts,From standard Cable Ties to advanced wire tires, the largest was awarded to general contractor RA Glancy & Sons of Gibsonia at $12.469 million.

The board voted, 8-1, to approve the lowest responsible bids, with School Director Danielle Burnette voting against the measure. In addition to hydraulics fittings and Aion Kinah, Board members Kay Wijekumar and Robert Riker joined the vote over the telephone.

Burnette said she would have preferred to review the bid alternates prior to taking the vote to attempt a scale-back on some of the $3 million in runover costs.

"Where are we coming up with the $3 million?" she asked.

Other board members who differed in opinion said the cost was minor compared to what it could cost walking away, and that scaling back even more could defeat the entire purpose of the renovations: to provide additional classroom space and 21st century upgrades for students now and several generations to come.

"My sentiment is that this project needs to be completed," Director Gianni Floro said.

School Director Mark Rodgers said the board is already in about $3 million, costs that are gone and won't be recovered if the project is stopped.
