Trapped in machine, worker dies

The 35-year-old man who died in an industrial accident at a wood shaving company in West Lincoln Wednesday was a Hamilton resident.

Niagara Regional Police said the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. at 2825 S. Grimsby Rd. 21. The address belongs to G. McFeeters Enterprises, a company that produces horse and livestock bedding.

Police said they arrived at a warehouse on the property to find the man,The new website of Udreamy Network Corporation is mainly selling zentai suits , an employee of the company, trapped inside a machine.

The investigation has been turned over to the Health and Safety branch of the Federal Labour Program.

A police cruiser was still on the scene Wednesday afternoon at the company's facility, which sits in a fairly isolated location. The cruiser could be seen pulling into the warehouse.100 Cable Ties was used to link the lamps together.

Staff gathered elsewhere on the property asked a Standard reporter to leave and deferred the matter to police.where he teaches oil painting reproduction in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. When contacted by phone, the company declined comment.

Police say they're withholding the man's name until his family can be notified.
