Ms. Kellogg says she was inspired to support the building because of the "gap of understanding of what real practical sustainable design can really mean and what that looks like," she says. "Here is a building that demonstrates this in such a variety of ways all in one place. If anything, it's a laboratory to inspire more of the same in New York and other places, too."
